We’ve received the following testimonials over the years. Some were solicited, most weren’t. They came in response to our free weekly ezine for facilitators, the Master Facilitator Journal, and from a variety of teleclasses we offer regularly.
You don’t know me but I have sent dozens of people to your wonderful website. I really like your free newsletter on facilitation skills and all the information that you provide your readers. I will say that I am proud to point folks in your direction for added assistance and guidance. And I am picky about whom I choose to refer. I like the feedback I receive when I send folks your way. Keep up the great work Steve.
— Larry Lipman, Success Coach
This class enhanced my self-confidence with facilitation as I realized it is much more than a set of techniques–it is a way of being with oneself, with a group, and with the world. It provided a more enlightened perspective on facilitation, different from traditional facilitation courses where there is more of a focus on “facilitative phrases” and techniques. Concepts were presented and then modeled by the facilitator, which was surprisingly effective. This course gave more of an “inner” perspective on facilitation. I recommend this course to anyone who has a willingness to stretch their facilitation skills.
–Carissa Wieler, Research Assistant
I appreciate Steve for the insight he expresses through Master Facilitator Journal, the models and products he creates and shares, and our email exchanges. Steve has helped me implement a personal goal, which is to foster collaboration in my workplace. He has helped me plan presentations and meetings…it’s creative play at a high level…incredibly fun for me. Steve also challenges me to grow spiritually. Although that is uncomfortable at times, it is softening the hard pan of my life, like gentle rain after a long drought. I am very grateful to receive what Steve has to offer as a professional facilitator/trainer, colleague and friend.
–Barb Bickford, Hydrogeologist, State Government
Your newsletter is the best of all the ones I subscribe to. Visually it is extremely tasteful and well laid out, the content is “A” class and is always very useful. The whole thing is very creative, in fact a work of art. It is also generous. Thank you.
— Susan Rose, Life Coach–
Wow! I loved the energy of that issue. You are such a good writer.
— Cheryl Miller, State Government–
This journal is one of the few free e-mailings I’ve received that I immediately double click on, knowing there’s always a “nugget” of value in there. I can tell you pour all of yourself into this project and just want you to know it ’s making a difference for me and is much appreciated. Thank you!
— Dennis Skinner, Senior Facilitator, Intel Corporation–
Just wanted to send you a big THANK YOU for providing a great newsletter for facilitators. Your newsletter always has a vivid and clear focus, a great life experience example, and always stirs my thinking. I get a lot of ezines and very few of them consistently interest me. Yours does. Kudos.
— Ken Kesslin, Facilitator–
This was my first teleclass and I was concerned about how we were going to get personally connected with everyone in this environment. I’m amazed and excited that I feel like I know these people already after only the first day. The fun activities you have us do really help to engage and connect us.
–Donna Dunaway, Trainer/Consultant–

This teleclass not only delivered facilitation techniques and information, it also aroused in me a new awareness of why I want to teach, train, mentor, and facilitate. Steve taught us how to sow seeds in people’s hearts that can grow and sustain resourcefully and powerfully. The class has added a value to my coaching and my life. Thank you!
–Bonnie Chan, Business Coach–

Steve’s relaxed and personable style lend credence to his message. His delivery is strong and the materials that he has collected are an asset to be treasured by anyone who is in the business of training or making presentations. The classes were easy to attend and very thorough. Given a chance, I would like to do it again.

Your site is very helpful for both the advanced facilitator and the “first-timer.”
— Annmarie Heinze, Facilitator–
This teleclass held my attention, kept me thinking, and gave me inspiring ideas and tools that I look forward to using in my next workshop.
–Sherry Leblanc, Executive Life Coach–
I found the class so very valuable, and am already using some of the Acts with a positive outcome! Your modelling of great facilitation skills was incredibly valuable to me. I was surprised to learn that even as a group member, I can move a group forward by using the “Acts.” The class also validated for me that I’m already doing many things right!
–Margaret Jones–
I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I appreciate your ezine. I’ve learned a lot from your words and been validated by them. Thank you for your professionalism, your passion and your gift.

The Learning Facilitator course gave me a new perspective in how I will approach my training. The idea of co-creating with my students is very energizing and I look forward to taking new risks in the future.

I just had to let you know how helpful the Master Facilitator Journal is. Not only do I use it daily in my work as Trainer, Facilitator, and Communications Specialist, but everything is applicable in my personal life. Many, many thanks!

Your article was a “gift from above” this morning!
— Betty Schoen, State Agency–
I became inspired and awakened to a new possibility. It’s a possibility that instead of being a teacher, I discovered that I am very passionate about facilitating learning. This is what I am fundamentally all about, and I was turned on by the conversation, the facilitation, the tools and the community of learners that were present.
–Annie Hammond, Life Coach–
I enjoy your well-thought out newsletter. I end up deleting many others, but I always read yours.
— Doug Smith, Life Coach–
Beautiful job and a shining example of what a good newsletter is and can be. I’m inspired.
— Susan E. Race, Life Coach–
It is wonderful to connect with and learn from a group of others who are also focused on facilitation (I don’t feel so alone!). Very practical, very applicable – not dry theory!
–Carl Dierschow, Coach, Hewlett Packard
I want to let you know that I find your website one of the most attractive and professional looking sites I’ve seen. It’s a pleasure to look at and read. Ditto for the content of your newsletter and the way it is presented. I’ve seen a lot of badly-presented information on the web and yours stands out in its excellence.
— Maggie Dennison, Life Coach–
I want to thank you for designing a course that lived up to its advertisement. I found the daily curriculum practical and thought provoking. The ideas developed each day created foundations for the lessons to follow. Many “acts of facilitation” were immediately applicable to my facilitation practice. The tone of each class was a supportive learning environment. Each class ended on a note of high-energy with encouraging words and an opportunity for feedback.
